P3Pro System Requirements:
  • Windows 98 or higher
  • 64 Mb RAM with at least 128 Mb virtual RAM available
  • 9-pin serial port or USB port with 9-pin serial-to-USB converter.

 

USB connector

The P3ProSwing connects to the computer using the RS232 Serial port. Some computers do not have a RS232 Serial port, but instead use a USB port for accessories like PDAs and digital cameras. If your computer is one of these you will need our USB serial to USB Adapter to connect the P3Pro Sensor Pad to your computer. This full spectrum converter is required for data communication between the P3Pro Sensor Pad and your computer.

Most likely you will not find a full spectrum serial port converter at your local electronic store that will function adequately with the P3Pro Sensor Pad. We highly suggest that you get this proven converter. It is inexpensive and it is guaranteed.

The following systems will support all of the basic P3Pro Sensor Pad Swing Analysis, Simulation & Game functions:

For full motion graphics - (or the ability to fly with the ball in the air or fly over the golf course) and audio you will also need
  • 128 Mb RAM with at least 128 Mb virtual RAM available
  • a 3-D Graphics Accelerator Card (i.e. NVidia GeForce3, GeForce4, ATI Radeon, etc¡­)
  • Audio card with speaker(s).

For video capture and/or launch angle you will need:

  • Windows 2000 or Windows XP
  • 3 GHz CPU or better
  • 1 Gb RAM
  • a 3-D Graphics Accelerator Card with 128 Mb RAM or more.
  • At least 1 USB 2.0 controller for each USB video camera.
  • 1 firewire 1394 port for each DV camera,
  • At least 1 USB 1.1+ port for the required security dongle.
  • For launch angle, you will need the supplied USB camera and light.

P3Pro Tiger Woods PC Game Interface:

  • Windows 2000 or Windows XP
  • A CD drive (for EA SPORTS' TIGER WOODS PGA TOUR 2004/2005/2006 PC Game)
  • A DVD drive is required to play EA SPORTS' TIGER WOODS PGA TOUR 2007 PC Game
If you are purchasing a computer:

If you are purchasing a new computer to run P3ProSwing™ you will find some very good deals out there. The key in purchasing a computer is getting one that will run the full motion graphics. The key is the Graphics Accelerator Card. Tell your computer consultant or salesman you want a high-end graphics card for gaming. The following is a suggested requirements list when purchasing a new computer.

    • Windows XP (Home or Pro)
    • High end Graphics Accelerator Card i.e. ATI Radeon(we suggest 64 Mb), a NVidia GeForce 4, or an equivalent high end graphics card
    • At least 128 Mb of virtual RAM)
    • A 9 pin serial port ¨C If it doesn¡¯t come with one you¡¯ll need a USB to serial port converter from our website.
    • Audio card with speakers

For Windows Vista:
(to support full motion graphics) we recommend an ATI Radeon x1300 (or better) video card --
NOTE: you must go to the ATI website and download the Vista drivers for the card!

SYSTEM TEST DOWNLOAD

If you would like to test your computer and graphics card to determine if full motion graphics are supported, follow the download and install instructions below. The System Test will determine if your computer system and graphics card are capable of running full motion graphics. If this test says that your full motion graphics are not available there are three additional steps you can take to maximize your computer so it may be able to utilise the full motion graphics in P3Pro Software. System Test Instructions When You Click to Download

 

Open the file. Follow the installation prompts. It will install the P3Pro Analysis icon on your desktop. Go to your desktop and double-click the P3Pro Analysis icon. P3Pro Analysis will automatically check your computer system and graphics card for its capabilities. It will respond with Moving Pictures Available or Moving Pictures Not Available. If they are available you may remove the system test by dragging the icon to the recycling bin. If Moving Pictures are Not Available you may wish to try and Maximize Your Computer for Full Motion Graphics.
